Leo's appearance was pretty awesome in the game, so it's pretty surprising no one took an opportunity to convert him. Turns out the reason is that he lacks physical attacks for even the 2-button control that I prefer. Fortunately, I edited one of his air basics and Rolento was gracious enough to edit his standing attacks. I hope you enjoy! ---------- Storyline: ---------- Leo was just enjoying another day in Hotbeat when that crazy Lion from Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland appeared and attempted to eat him. As much as Leo ran, the Lion kept following, and none of Leo's attacks worked on it because, you know, they're both fire-types and stuff. Thus, Leo decided the best way to get rid of him was to find a more delicious victim. No, this story isn't canon, and neither is the anime. --------- Gameplay: --------- If you've played Jared's Biospark or Knuckle Joe, or our joint-effort Bonkers, you know what to expect. REAL MEN only need 2 buttons. As for Burnin' Leo, imagine if you threw Dhalsim and Blanka into a blender but got a KSS character instead of SFIII's Necro. Burnin' Leo has both a floaty quality with ranged fire attacks combined with physical maneuvers, thus allowing you to mix long and close-range attacks effortlessly. ------------ What's Left: ------------ 1 Super Get the jump more like the game Unique palettes for the Lion More palettes in general A better "Fire Breath" At least one more intro --------- Movelist: --------- Basic System A - Light Punch B - Heavy Punch Down + A or B - Sliding kick Up - Jump Up (after Jump) - Double Jump Down - Crouch --------------- Special Attacks --------------- Burning Attack (Charge B, F+ Attack) [Can be used in Air] - Leo flies at his opponent to set them ablaze. Very fast, but has lag if it whiffs. Fire Shot (QCF + Attack) - Leo breaths out a fireball that moves quite quickly. Control vertical motion with up or down. Fire Breath (HCB + Attack) - Leo shoots a few fireballs rapidly. Good for racking up hits and comboing on nearby opponents. Fire Ball (F, DF, F+ Attack) - Leo turns into a stationary fireball. Anyone who touches it will get hurt. Great for defensive tactics. ------------- Super Attacks ------------- Summon Lion (Charge B, F+2 Attack) - That crazy Lion from Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland does his trademark fire tackle in an attempt to eat Leo but misses and attacks the opponent.
